General News & Comment IAEA plans meet in Saskatchewan

The International Atomic Energy Agency is planning to hold a technical committee meeting on the uranium resources and geology of North America in Saskatoon, Sask. The dates for the meeting, which will be hosted by the Department of Geological Sciences at the University of Saskatchewan, are from Aug 31 to Sept 4.

Topics to be discussed by various experts include the geology of uranium deposits, descriptions of new uranium discoveries and models of uranium metallogenesis, to name a few. Also, a one-day field trip will be organized to the Collin Bay B deposit in northern Saskatchewan.
