A brokered private placement of 3.7 million special warrants priced at $1.60 each has grossed $5.9 million for Getty Copper (VSE).
Each special warrant is convertible into a unit, consisting of one share and one share purchase warrant exercisable at $2.10 per share over a period of 18 months.
The company has raised more than $10 million in the past eight months for exploration of its copper property in the Highland Valley area of British Columbia, near Kamloops. It is attempting to define an oxide-sulphide deposit minable by open-pit methods.
