Glacial study for Sagar project

A study of the quaternary geology of the Sagar-III property, in Quebec’s Labrador Trough area, has met with encouragement.

Mineralized boulders previously discovered on the property, owned by Virginia City Gold Mines (ME) have yielded values of up to 106.26 grams gold per tonne and 1.31% uranium.

The study, conducted on behalf of Hemlo Gold Mines (TSE), which can earn a half interest in the property, indicates that:

* the five boulder fields, initially thought to be separate entities, are in fact a single boulder train;

* the gold-bearing boulders are in a basal till, suggesting a proximal source; and * the source is probably in a southwesterly direction within 1,000 metres of the main boulder train.

Drillers will try to locate the source of the boulders this spring.
