Glen Auden, Adola cut low grade gold (January 05, 1987)

Drilling by partners Glen Auden Resources and Adola Mining has yielded encouraging results from their Taylor Twp., Ont., gold prospect. Located east of Timmins, the property covers a section of the Destor Purcupine fault.

Favorable green carbonate alternation was cut in a zone ranging up to 150 ft in width. Anomalous assays from 5-ft sections ranged up to 0.06 oz gold per ton.

A 3,000 ft drill program is also under way on the company’s Blakelock Twp., Ont., property. Drilling is testing for the strike extension of volcanic rocks which host a gold discovery made by Golden Shield Resources and Newmont Explorations to the east.
