Glimmer reports alteration zone

Drilling on Glimmer Resources’ (VSE) Beatty-Hislop property in northeastern Ontario has intersected a new zone of alteration. The new zone is about 300 metres north of the other known mineralized zones.

The new zone is being tested in the current drill program by Noranda Exploration on behalf of Hemlo Gold Mines (TSE). Hemlo is the operator of the project and has a 60% interest in the Glimmer property.

Hole 66 contained two sections of the new zone, measuring eight metres and 35 metres wide. Assays from these sections have returned isolated values of up to one gram gold per tonne.
