Drilling at the Mountain of Gold property in central Madagascar, Pan African Mining (PAF-V, PAFRF-O) has intersected gold in an infill drill hole and along strike from previous intersections.
Current drilling at the property, 125 km southwest of Antananarivo, has concentrated on the northeast-striking Dabolava East shear zone, where previous holes intersected 5.5 metres grading 50.8 grams gold per tonne and 5.6 metres grading 9.5 grams. One hole, drilled near the middle of the 90-metre interval between those two holes, intersected 8.3 metres grading 14.7 grams per tonne.
A second hole, drilled 300 metres northeast of that area on the same structure, intersected a narrow high-grade gold zone, grading 55.1 grams over 0.4 metre.
Further drilling is planned along the length of the structure, and in the dilation zone already identified by the earlier drilling.
