Goldbrae active

Exploration work has commenced at Goldbrae Developments’ Tartan Lake property in northern Manitoba. The initial program will include soil sampling, geological mapping, prospecting, hand trenching, and blasting. Recent grab sampling from the main zone yielded assays ranging from 0.04 to 0.14 oz gold per ton, confirming values located there last year, the company says. One channel sample this season returned 0.35 oz gold across 1.6 ft. Westfield Minerals, the company’s joint venture partner, expects to drill the showing this year.

The Tartan Lake project of Granges Exploration and Abermin Corp. is located two miles from Goldbrae’s property.
