The first phase of a drill program on the Golden Heart property in northern Saskatchewan has yielded favorable results.
The project is shared by Tyler Resources (TSE), with 50%, Golden Rule Resources (TSE), with 34%, and Cameco (TSE), with 16%.
The partners completed 29 diamond drill holes, for a total of 6,139 metres. The cost of the program was $640,000.
The program was designed to define and expand the existing gold reserves of the Golden Heart deposit, which has an in situ reserve of 687,000 tonnes grading 10.29 grams gold per tonne.
The companies have started a second phase of the program, with the goal of extending the deposit along strike and down-plunge. The new program will also entail drilling infill holes in preparation for underground bulk sampling.
The three gold zones that comprise the Golden Heart deposit are open to expansion along trend.
The high gold values found in Hole W96-108 (up to 19.54 grams per tonne over 2.4
metres at 157.6 metres) and Hole W96-114 (up to 134.74 grams over 2.8 metres at 272.2 metres) confirm the increasing grades at depth. The following table shows the latest drill
