A total of 25,275 ft of drilling has been completed on three of the 11 properties held by Golden Range Resources under an agreement with Mingold Resources, Golden Range reports.
At the Manson Bay property in Saskatchewan, located 30 miles northwest of Flin Flon, Man., 34 holes were completed. The holes traced a favorable gold horizon along a strike length of 4,000 ft and to a depth of 400 ft, the company says.
Widths of these intersections range from 2-30 ft, with the majority of the intersections assaying in the 0.05-to-0.15-oz-gold-per-ton range. The best intersection assayed 0.7 oz over 23 ft. Drilling on the Vet claims in the La Ronge belt in Saskatchewan and the Caper zone in Manitoba’s Snow Lake area encountered only anomalous gold values, the company says.
Drilling at these three properties has been suspended during freeze- up.
A 4-mile access road is under construction to the Hudvam property located 30 miles northeast of Flin Flon. Commencement of a 4,500-ft decline is expected this month.
