Golden Star Resources (TSE) has begun exploring the Dul gold project in western Ethiopia.
Golden Star, the first foreign company to be awarded gold exploration rights, controls more than 1,800 sq. km in the Abyssinian nation.
The company plans to undertake 6,000 metres of drilling and 5,000 metres of trenching in the first year.
