Junior Gregor Goldfields (CDN) has drilled three holes at 100-ft. spacings on its property in Ontario’s Hemlo camp.
The drilling, which was intended to test what is known as the 1-zone, resulted in 0.03 oz. gold per ton over 167 ft., 0.15 oz. over 6 ft. and 0.22 oz. over 3.3 ft. All results were from near-surface mineralization. In March, two more holes will be drilled on the 1-zone, and four other areas will be tested, including the 15- and 7-zones.
The 15-zone, a mile north of the 1-zone, previously had a 20-ft. section which ran 0.07 oz. The 7-zone, half a mile north of the 1-zone, had a 14-ft. section which averaged 0.145 oz.
