Heritage raises funds

Junior Heritage Explorations (HXL-V) has raised $300,000 by issuing 3 million treasury shares. The placement came with an equivalent number of warrants, which are exercisable at 10 apiece within the next two years.

Proceeds are earmarked for the half-owned SIB project in British Columbia.

SIB is adjacent to, and along strike of, the high-grade Eskay Creek operation, which is owned and operated by Homestake Mining (HM-N). At the year’s start, reserves at the mine were pegged at 1.5 million tonnes grading 44.91 grams gold per tonne.
