High grade hit on Treminco bet

Underground drilling at Treminco Resources’ Tom property near Yellowknife, N.W.T., has intersected a previously unknown vein. An assay of 0.46 oz gold was reported over 8.4 ft from the new structure which lies between the producing No 3 vein and the parallel South vein.

Drilling has confirmed that ore values occur in both the No 3 and South veins to depths of 300 ft, says Treminco. Combined with the recent discovery, that fact would appear to significantly increase the mine’s present ore reserves, the company states. A decline is under way to further explore the potential of these orebodies.
