High grade intersections have been encountered in a northward extension of a gold zone under development at the Granges- MacMillan Mishibishu Lake project in northern Ontario, MacMillan Energy reports.
The company said values of 1.117 oz gold per ton over six feet and 0.119 oz over an additional 15 feet were recovered from one hole, while five separate sections of another hole, totalling 38 ft, returned values from 0.111 oz to 0.498 oz.
The company says it has been advised by Granges Exploration that additional diamond drill rigs are being sought to begin a program of fill-in drilling plus zone extension drilling and further testing of a recently discovered gold-bearing area some 4,500 ft away from the major zone under development.
