Inco withdraws

Nickel-producer Inco (TSE) says it has withdrawn from negotiations concern ing its possible purchase (72% interest) in the Queensland Nickel joint ven ture in Australia. Inco was talking with a consortium of financial institu tions that controls the 72% joint venture interest and with the Queensland state government.
