INSIDER TRADING — Armada exec unloads shares

Recent insider trading reported by the Ontario Securities Commission in its OSC Bulletin includes the following:

  • Armada Gold (AAU-T) — John Hopkins, director, sold 500,000 shares at 4 cents-5 cents per share to hold 400,000 shares and 328,500 options.
  • Hornby Bay Exploration (HBBY-C) — James Brady, director and owner of more than 10% of the company, sold 1 million shares privately at 30 cents and, on the same day, bought 1 million shares privately at 30 cents to hold 2.64 million shares.
  • Lionore Mining (LIM-T) — Deans Knight Capital Management, owner of more than 10%, bought 419,500 shares indirectly at 80 cents-90 cents to hold 12.97 million shares.
  • Oro Nevada Resources (ONV-A) — Redcastle Capital, owner of more than 10%, bought in a private placement 3.08 million shares at 39 cents and received 1.54 million warrants, which can be exchanged for shares at 58 cents, to hold 3.98 million shares and 1.54 million warrants.
  • Pangea Goldfields (PGD-T) — Jean Potvin, director, sold 14,000 shares at $2.07 to hold 558,600 shares directly and 110,000 shares indirectly.
  • Pure Gold Minerals (PUG-T) — Eugene Beukman, director, received 500 shares as a gift and sold 100,000 shares privately at 19 cents to hold 1,000 shares; Donald Sheldon, director, bought 100,000 shares privately at 19 cents and another 11,500 shares directly at 20 cents-21 cents to hold 398,311 shares.
  • Tiomin Resources (TIO-T) — Jean Potvin, director, bought 28,000 shares directly at an unspecified price and 162,500 shares indirectly at 30 cents to hold 1.92 million shares directly and 1.7 million shares indirectly.
  • United Keno Mines (UKH-T) — Robert Granger, director, sold 600,000 shares privately and indirectly at 16 cents and 346,500 shares indirectly at 15 cents-20 cents to hold 3.42 million shares indirectly; Stephen Powell, director and owner of more than 10%, sold 946,500 shares indirectly at 15 cents-20 cents to hold 3.42 million shares; Gerald Gauthier, director and owner of more than 10%, was granted 500,000 options indirectly, which can be exchanged for shares at 16 cents, to hold as many options indirectly.
