INSIDER TRADING — Goldcorp execs exercise options, sell

Two senior officers of Goldcorp (TSE) exercised options and sold shares in December.

According to the Ontario Securities Commission’s OSC Bulletin, senior officer Catherine David-Nolan exercised 15,000 options at $2.65 and sold 7,200 shares at $6.38-7.25 to hold 7,800 shares and 15,000 options. Director and senior officer Rolando Francisco exercised 50,000 options at $5 and sold 50,000 shares at $7.13 to hold zero shares and 50,000 options. Other transactions include:

Agnico-Eagle Mines (TSE) — Paul Penna, director and senior officer, bought 200,000 convertible bonds at US$70.55 to hold 200,000 convertible bonds. American Barrick Resources (TSE) — Gregory Fauquier, senior officer, bought 500 shares at $19.04 and was granted 175,000 options at an undisclosed price to hold 500 shares and 175,000 options.

Ariel Resources (TSE) — William Bennett, senior officer and director, bought 53,700 shares at $1.09-1.73 and sold 20,800 shares at $1.40-2.00 to hold 917,412 shares.

Arimetco International (TSE) — Harold Shipes, director and senior officer, sold 12,000 shares at $1.25 to hold 5.6 million shares.

Baja Gold (TSE) — Wayne Johnstone, senior officer, bought 1,000 shares at $2.16, and was granted 5,000 options at $2.20 to hold 2,000 shares and 45,000 options. William Meek, senior officer and director, bought 500 shares at $2.35 to hold 2,000 shares.

Diamond Fields Resources (TSE) — David Cohen, director, bought 45,000 shares at $8.37-12.50 to hold 227,450 shares.

Glencairn Explorations (ASE) — Ian McDonald, director, bought 19,000 shares at 20 cents and sold 3,500 shares at 30 cents to hold 680,685 shares. Manhattan Minerals (TSE) — Peter Tegart, director and senior officer, exercised 60,000 options at 82 cents and bought 5,000 shares at $1.35 to hold 536,750 shares and 40,000 options. Robert Willis bought 29,500 shares at $1.30-1.50 to hold 856,000 shares.

Rayrock Yellowknife Resources (TSE) — David Hutton, director and senior officer, exercised 3,000 options at $5.12 and sold 3,000 shares at $10 to hold 129,400 shares.

Richmont Mines (TSE) — Clermont Pageau, senior officer, sold 3,900 shares at $3.70-3.80 to hold 6,100 shares.
