Int’l Curator back at Assean Lake

Now that the winter freeze has set in, International Curator Resources (IC-T) is resuming exploration at the Assean Lake gold project in north-central Manitoba.

The program is budgeted at $580,000 and will entail electromagnetic surveying and 4,500 metres of diamond drilling. Targets include the Hunt, BIF and B-52 zones.

At the Hunt zone, Curator has sunk 26 core holes to outline mineralization over a strike length of 600 metres and to a depth of 350 metres below surface. The best result, 9.37 grams per tonne over 8.15 metres, came from a 100 metre-long, high-grade shoot.

At the BIF zone, 1 km to the east, two holes returned upwards of 4.26 grams over 1.75 metres. This is the least-explored of the three zones.

Two kilometres farther to the east, the B-52 zone has yielded up to 10.2 grams over 4 metres from six holes. The holes were drilled no deeper than 100 metres below surface.

Curator operates and owns a 60% stake in the property; the remainder is held by Rare Earth Metals (rem-v).
