Int’l Platinum files financial data

Toronto-listed International Platinum (IPC) has filed its 1993 and year-to-date financial statements with the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC).

In late May, the OSC imposed a cease-trading order against IPC, pending completion and lodgement of the statements. IPC hopes the reports will satisfy the commission and persuade it to lift the order.

In other news, the company remains under suspension with the Toronto Stock Exchange, awaiting the results of an independent evaluation of its Black Rock project in Arizona.

A summary report from the company’s technical consultant, Behre Dolbear, is expected in October.

Behre Dolbear has been conducting studies on the IPC property to determine if gold is present and, if so, whether it can be recovered.
