Jackson Inlet anomalous in indicator minerals

Regional sampling across more than half of Twin Mining‘s (TWG-T) holdings on the Brodeur Peninsula, on Baffin Island, has identified a dozen anomalous areas.

Of the 426 samples collected, 110 contain kimberlite indicator mineral grains. Soil and stream-sediment samples were taken at 500-metre intervals along lines that were spaced 4 km apart across 3,490 sq. km of the wholly owned, 5,086-sq.-km Jackson Inlet property package. Sample lines near the known Freightrain and Cargo 1 kimberlites were more closely spaced.
