Johnson Matthey rep to talk at university platinum conference

The Outcrop Club, an undergraduate student organization in the Department of Geology at the University of Western Ontario, together with the Toronto Geological Discussion Group, have arranged to have Alan Austin of Johnson Matthey in London, England speak on the economic future of platinum.

Mr Austin will deliver his talk at a 1-day conference on the white metal to be held on the university campus in Waterloo, Ont., Friday, Feb 6. Speakers will include Neil Irvine of the Carnegie Institute of Washington, Richard Sutcliffe of the Ontario Geological Survey and Lee Barker of Lacana.

The conference will be held in Room 40 of the Richard Ivey School of Business Administration and registration costs $25 for non- students.
