KEGS Issues Call For Papers For 2010 PDAC Symposium

The Canadian Exploration Geophysical Society has issued a call for papers for its 2010 PDAC Symposium, All That Glitters: Geophysical Exploration for Precious Metals.

The event will be held on Saturday, March 6 from 8 am to 5 pm in the ballroom at the Intercontinental Hotel and will feature a roster of renowned industry experts who will present a series of papers focusing on exploration and extraction of gold, silver and platinum group metals.

Abstracts for discussion can be a maximum of one page and can be submitted to any member of the KEGS Executive before Feb. 5.

There are 16 time slots (20-minute talks and 5 minutes for questions).

Final decisions on paper acceptance will be made after a review of all abstracts submitted on time. Speakers will be asked to register, but will receive a discount on KEGS Symposium pricing.

The symposium will include an introductory overview of key geological aspects of important types of gold, silver, and platinum group metals deposits; particular geophysical surveys and applications, case studies, and will look at promising future technologies.
