Obituary: Keith Glover

Keith Glover, a leading structural expert in the mining industry, has died. He was 55.

Glover was born on June 5, 1946 in Manchester, England. He completed his bachelor’s degree later at nearby Leicester University. In 1973, he earned a master of science degree from the University of London. He followed that with a doctorate degree from Queens University in Kingston, Ont.

Glover was one of the world’s structural experts and, as such, consulted for international mining companies in Canada, Asia, South America and the U.S.

Glover was also a regional geologist and excelled in stratigraphic analysis, metamorphic geology, geochronology, igneous petrology, structural geology and economic geology.

He is survived by his wife Joan, and two children, Emma and Shawn.
