Kinbauri drilling gets weak results

Drilling on several properties held by Kinbauri Gold Corp. has yielded marginal results. On the company’s Morrisette property northeast of Kirkland Lake, Ont., one hole intersected a zone of anomalous gold values. The best assay was 0.02 oz gold per ton across 2 ft.

On the Bompas property, in Bompas Twp., west of Kirkland Lake, drilling intersected the continuation at depth of a zone carrying anomalous gold values. Near Perth, Ont., a program has delineated an area warranting additional work on the Peterwhite property. Additional flow-through share financing will be sought for 1987, the company says.
