Kingswood hits gold-bearing veins

A drill hole recently completed on Kingswood Explorations’ (ASE) Devon gold property northeast of Matheson, Ont., intersected three narrow, steeply dipping quartz veins containing high-grade gold.

Results include 1.47 oz. gold per ton over 1.1 ft., 0.33 oz. over 6 ft. and 2.58 oz. over 1.3 ft. Hole 92-12 was drilled 100 ft. south of hole 90-4, which returned intersections of 1.12 oz. over 1 ft., 2.95 oz. over 6 ft. and 0.14 oz. over 4.3 ft.

Kingswood says the program, designed to establish the continuity of high-grade intersections to depth and to explore for a feeder zone, is continuing. To protect its 12-claim property, Kingswood recently staked eight contiguous claims along the Pipestone Fault to the southwest. The company also staked four contiguous claims in Coulson Twp. to the north.
