LABRADOR NEWS ROUNDUP — Project 61 returns sulphides

Drills continue to turn on the Project 61 joint venture of NDT Ventures (VSE) and Takla Star Resources (ASE), about 7 km southwest of the Diamond Fields discovery in Labrador. The companies drilled three holes on the South Gossan zone, and are drilling a fourth to test the zone at depth. The first hole encountered a weakly mineralized hybrid gneiss. The second, drilled 300 metres to the west, encountered the same gneiss but included a more mineralized zone of disseminated to semi-massive sulphides, including a 7.4-metre interval grading 0.45% nickel, 0.18% copper and 0.03% cobalt. The third hole, 50 metres west of the second hole, also intersected the hybrid gneiss and included several intervals of more than 1 metre averaging 0.12% nickel and 0.07% copper. Results are awaited from three holes on the North Gossan zone.
