LAST BUT NOT LEAST — Eastern Stone reopens quarry

The Belmont Rose granite quarry has been reopened.

The eastern Ontario quarry produces granite blocks for sale to North American monument manufacturers and construction companies.

Belmont Rose Granite, a subsidiary of Eastern Stone Products (ASE), intends to provide three years’ supply of stone, valued at $2 million, to four monument makers. To construction companies, it will provide stone blocks and processed slab, panel and tile products.
