LAST BUT NOT LEAST — Gaspesie reports titanium find

A mineralized zone of titanium and phosphate has been uncovered in the Baie Comeau area of Quebec’s North Shore, Gaspesie, Societe d’explorations petroliere et miniere (ME) reports.

The mineralization was observed over four kilometres along the axis of a large shear zone, over a width of 200-300 ft. A sample assayed at the Centre de Recherche Minerale at Ste. Foy, Que., yielded 12% ilmenite which contains 49% titanium dioxide. The company plans to collect more samples for assaying.
