LAST BUT NOT LEAST — Gregor drills Hemlo area prospect

CDN-listed Gregor Goldfields is stripping and drilling, on 245-ft. centres, a gold-mineralized structure in the Hemlo area of northern Ontario.

The company has confirmed a “tectonic deformation zone” more than 1.2 miles long. The structure varies in width from 60 ft. to 120 ft. and is sheared and altered throughout, with widespread quartz-carbonate flooding. Previous drilling intersected 0.05-0.21 oz. gold per ton ranging in width from 120 ft. for the lower values to 8.75 ft. for the higher ones. The current series of holes will test the upper portion of the structure; the next sequence will test at depth.
