LAST BUT NOT LEAST — Soquem drills Virginia bet

Drilling is under way on the Sagar-1 property near Fermont, Que., report partners Virginia Gold Mines (ME) and Soquem.

The program is designed to confirm the presence of a large zone of copper and precious metals mineralization on the 52-sq.-km property. Sagar-1, which is underlain by an ultramafic intrusion, has returned grades of up to 0.8% copper and 1.8 grams per tonne gold as well as platinum and palladium values.

Soquem is earning a half-interest in the property.
