The Toronto Geological Discussion Group will welcome geophysical consultant Laurie Reed at its next meeting, slated for Tuesday, Dec. 6 at 4 p.m. at the Ontario Club, Commerce Court South building, in downtown Toronto.
Laurie will employ several Canadian examples in his discussion about the geophysics of volcanogenic sulphide deposits.
Laurie has worked in such camps as Buchans in Newfoundland, Selbaie in Quebec, and South Bay in northwestern Ontario.
Laurie’s talk will be the last before Christmas and mark the 60th anniversary of the Toronto Geological Discussion Group.
Admission is free but the cost of an annual membership is $25.
