LATIN AMERICA — Auromar, Monte Carlo drilling

The first reverse circulation drill hole of a program testing a gold property on the Caribbean island of Aruba was completed recently, Auromar Development (VSE) and Monte Carlo Gold Mines (ASE) report.

Current focus of the work is the Kadushi deposit, which airborne geophysics indicates has a strike length of 900-1,000 ft., the companies say. The deposit underwent near-surface mining in the late 1800s.

The program is designed to test the Kadushi and three other deposits: Mira LaMar, West Point and Arikok.

Auromar has an option to earn a 50% interest in the project by spending $800,000 on exploration work and constructing a heap leach facility to process stockpiled tailings.
