LATIN AMERICA — Red Rock affiliate acquires Amelia

A final payment of US$790,000 by Minera Roca Roja SA de CV, a 50% owned subsidiary of Red Rock Mining (VSE), has resulted in the former claiming 100% ownership of the Amelia gold property near Magdalena in Sonora, Mexico.

Total purchase price was US$1.5 million. The Amelia project, which Red Rock says is on target for a November startup, is subject to a 1.5% net smelter royalty.
