Laverty drilling yields disappointing values

Narrow, localized zones carrying little gold appear to be the source of the strongly anomalous humus samples collected on the Laverty Red Lake Resources (COATS) claim group near Red lake, Ont. A 4-hole, 2,100-ft. drilling program, designed to follow up coincident geophysical, geochemical and structural indicators, failed to intersect any significant gold- bearing zones, although sulphides were abundant in two of the holes.

Laverty plans to correlate its drilling results with results from nearby properties explored by LAC Minerals (TSE) and Chevron before contemplating any further drilling.
