Linatex acquires Durex Products

Linatex and Durex Products, both geared towards production of rubber parts and other products for material processing, have made a deal to merge.

Tennessee-based Linatex is acquiring Durex, and the companies plan to unify their businesses to reduce maintenance costs and increase production.

Together, the companies plan to provide customers with a wider range of products, services and solutions for materials processing in hard rock mining, sand and aggregates.

Founded in Malaysia in the 1920s, Linatex has provided rubber for use in an abrasive wear environment for companies world wide.
