Junior Novicourt (ME) generated $11.9 million in revenue during the first quarter.
The revenue was derived from the company’s 45% interest in the Louvicourt base metal mine near Val d’Or, Que.
The Louvicourt mill processed 2,515 tonnes per day during its first full quarter of production. The material yielded high-quality copper and zinc concentrates containing 16 million lb. of payable copper and 7 million lb. of zinc.
Net earnings for the quarter were $1.3 million, or 3 cents a share.
The mine is 25% owned by Teck (TSE) and 30% by Aur Resources (TSE), the operator.
