Lynx-Canada plans to drill

A diamond drill program is planned for the Lynx-Canada Explorations Massicotte property in the Casa Berardi area of northwestern Quebec, reports President Karl Glackmeyer

Several excellent drill targets were established during the recently completed $200,0000 exploration program. The drill targets take the form of electro- magnetic conductors and induced polarization anomalies located along favorable geologic trends as interpreted from the magnetic data.

Lynx has an option to acquire a minimum of 50% working interest in this 3,584-h property.

At the Elm Tree project in New Brunswick in which Lynx-Canada has a 5.9% working interest, a well mineralized structure rich is silver was disco vered in surface exploration. (N.M. Oct 6/86) Lacana Mining Corp. is operator.

Work is also planned to start shortly on the Harker-Garrison property near Timmins, Ont, says Mr Glackmeyer. This work, to be carried out jointly with Sparton Resources is aimed at establishing drill targets.

At the end of the six-month period ended Aug 31, Lynx-Canada posted a net loss of $112,735 or 2 cents per share on revenue of $1,485. This compares with a net loss of $85,828 or 1 cents per share on revenues of $986 in the comparable period of 1985.

Working capital at the end of this year’s six-month period stood at a deficit of $397,765 versus a deficit of $73,521 in the year-earlier period.
