MacMillan, Granges find gold values west of gold zone

Gold-bearing mineralization has been discovered in two anomaly- testing diamond drill holes located 4,500 ft west of a gold zone being developed at the Granges Exploration and MacMillan Energy Corp.’s Mishibishu Lake project in northern Ontario.

MacMillan Energy says it has been advised by Granges the two anomaly holes encountered gold mineralization in a quartz seriate schist structure with quartz veining containing pyrite.

The new results include 0.12 oz gold per ton over 3 ft from anomaly hole 86-69. This hole also returned another 3 ft section grading 0.066 oz.

Among the intersections in anomaly hole 86-90 was a 3-ft section grading 0.053 oz and a 3-ft section grading 0.054 oz.
