Diamond drilling is planned this summer on the Pinto (north) project of Consolidated NRD Resources in the Malartic area of Quebec, according to Malartic Hygrade Gold Mines (Canada).
Malartic reports it will manage the project, along with American Barrick Resource Corp.
J. S. Belton, president of Malartic, says the company can earn up to a 35% undivided interest in the property by contributing $850,000 out of a total of $1.7 million in exploration spending, before the end of September, 1989.
The drilling program due to start this summer will cost in the order of $350,000, Mr. Belton said.
