Marker earmarking $2m. for exploration

Marker Resources says the First Exploration Fund 1987 has committed $1 million for Marker’s exploration programs this year, and a further $1 million for the 1988 program.

Marker plans a drill program to start immediately on the Twin Lake shear zone in the Flin Flon area of Manitoba, and is carrying out grid work and geophysical surveys to evaluate claims in the Puffy Lake area of the province, covering about eight miles of the favorable horizon known to host the Puffy Lake deposit of Pioneer Metals.

Also actively researching new areas of interest, Marker is negotiating a joint venture with a major mining company, says President Gordon Barron .
