McGill symposium

The Adams Club, McGill University’s department of geological sciences, will be host of a symposium March 6 in the Royal Bank auditorium, Place Ville Marie, Montreal. It’s titled Ore Deposits in Metamorphosed Terrains.

Among the topics to be discussed (by speakers including Dr Edgar Froese of the Geological Survey of Canada, Dr Bruce Nesbitt, the University of Alberta, and Dr Walter Trzcienski, University of Montreal) will be metamorphosed base and precious metal deposits, metamorphosed chromite deposits and graphite veins in metamorphic rocks.
