Meeting to promote cancer detection

A medical conference on the early detection and treatment of lung cancer will be held at Elliot Lake, Ont., June 13, by The Canadian Institute for Radiation Safety. The conference is intended to promote the CAIRS early lung cancer detection program for northern miners. So far, more than 3,500 miners have been enrolled.
