In step-out drilling on its Boomerang base metal discovery in Newfoundland,
Three holes have been completed on the same section as discovery hole 11 (see page B1). Hole 16 was collared 77 metres directly below the discovery hole and hit 6.7 metres (4.2 metres true width) of 18.3% zinc, 6.3% lead and 1.5% copper, plus 159 grams silver. Gold assays are pending.
Hole 12 intersected the massive sulphide lens 36 metres directly above discovery hole 11, returning 13 metres (9.5 metres true width) of 9.6% zinc, 3.5% lead and 0.7% copper, plus 126 grams silver and 1.4 grams gold. Hole 15 intercepted the zone 17 metres up-dip of hole 12, hitting 11.1 metres (7.5 metres true width) of lower-grade sulphides averaging 1.7% zinc, 0.9% lead and 0.2% copper, plus 44 grams silver and 1 gram gold.
