MEXICO AND CENTRAL AMERICA — Independence Res. explores in Panama

A drill program is being planned by Independence Resources (IDN-V) for its Chami prospect in Panama.

The Vancouver-based junior discovered a strongly fractured porphyry intrusive on the margin of its claims, with values in soils of up to 0.05% copper. The company says the intrusive may be a satellite to the huge Cerro Colorado copper deposit being developed by Tiomin Resources (TIO-T).

Independence plans to start drilling its Chami prospect early next year. In the meantime, the company is evaluating other properties in South America.
