Vancouver-based junior Forefront Ventures (FFV-V) has staked five blocks of claims covering 8,000 ha in the Batopilas, Morelos and Petrero de Bojorquez districts of Chihuahua state, Mexico.
The districts are reported to have long mining histories, with the Botopilas area alone having produced more than 300 million oz. silver.
The claims were acquired based on aerial and surface reconnaissance work. An exploration program is scheduled to start shortly.
