MEXICO AND CENTRAL AMERICA — Visionary explores prospects in Chihuahua

Through an agreement with the Phelps MacKenzie syndicate, Visionary Mining (VIN-V) has tied up a land package in Mexico’s Chihuahua state believed prospective for gold-silver-copper targets.

Using data acquired by the syndicate over the past two years, Visionary’s Mexican subsidiary staked about 210,000 ha in the region, with more staking planned.

LANDSAT (satellite) imagery was completed over a land package exceeding 1 million hectares, and results are being evaluated.

Visionary expects the staked ground will be subdivided into several parcels according to the targets defined by the LANDSAT images.

A US$1-million exploration program is planned to begin this winter.
