MINER BRIEFS — Stratmin mica

Stratmin (ME) reports that a university in Belgium has extracted and concentrated a mixture of muscovite-phlogopite mica from a sample taken from tailings at Stramin’s Lac-des-Iles graphite property north of Montreal. The company is hopeful that further testing will increase the purity of the mica to 98% from 90%.
