President Jean-Jacques Martel reports the drilling follows surface exploration work which indicated a number of prime targets believed to be on line of strike with a regional structure reported by SOQUEM, the Quebec Crown corporation involved in mining exploration. SOQUEM prospectors reported a gold-copper discovery (Olga Lake) in Morris Twp.
The current drilling is being financed privately. Martel reports he is hopeful of raising additional funds through a flow-through financing.
Meanwhile, more drilling is planned for the company’s Isle- Dieu Twp. gold property near Matagami. Other exploration targets include the Le Tac base metals- gold property and the Quevillon prospect.
