MINING MARKET & INVESTMENT NEWS — NEW LISTINGS — Newly listed Pickle Crow sets sights on past producer

Vancouver-based Pickle Crow Resources (PKL-A) is now listed on the Alberta Stock Exchange, having picked up $700,000 by way of an initial public offering of 2 million shares at 35 cents each.

The company holds a 3,192-acre property in Ontario’s Connell and McCullagh twps., where, between 1935 and 1966, the Pickle Crow mine produced 1.4 million oz. gold.

* Joining the ranks of juniors on the Vancouver Stock Exchange is Earl Resources (ERL). The company, which recently completed a private placement for $278,000, is exploring for gold in China’s Hebei province. The deposits being explored are reported to contain a resource of 450,000 oz. gold.

The company has 1.3 million shares outstanding.

* GoldSat Mining (GOM) has been called for trading on the Alberta Stock Exchange. The company recently completed a private placement of 1.5 million shares priced at 40 cents each.

GoldSat is exploring for base metals near Matagami in northern Quebec, where it holds three properties.

* Recently added to the Canadian Dealing Network is Orleans, Ont.-based Golden Hart Exploration (GHXX-C), which is exploring for gold on its 28,872-acre Whitehills Lake project in the Northwest Territories. Golden Hart has 7.9 million shares outstanding.

* The continued listing of Caledonia Mining (CALVF) on Nasdaq will be reviewed in early September. The company has complied with listing requirements in all areas except the minimum share price of US$1 (at presstime, the issue was trading in the 20 cents range). Caledonia will continue to trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol CAL.
