Published reports by the Ontario Securities Commission show that a director of BMR Gold (BGL-T) sold several blocks of shares in that company in June.
Frank Varseveld sold 17,000 shares directly at 6 cents, 332,000 shares privately at 4 cents, and 103,371 shares indirectly at 3-5 cents, while buying 2,000 shares at 5 cents. He then held 39,304 shares directly and 172,629 shares indirectly.
Other transactions recently reported in the OSC Bulletin include the following: * Ambrex Mining (AMBX-C) — Robert Ciccarelli, holder of more than 10% of the company, bought 1.8 million shares indirectly at 5 cents to hold 6.06 million shares through Ciccarelli Holdings; and Hohn Iannozzi, director, bought 1.25 million shares indirectly at 6 cents to hold 1 million shares through Joranco Corp.
* Aur Resources (AUR-T) — the company bought 74,700 shares at $3 to hold an unspecified amount in its treasury.
* Boliden (BOL-T) — Frederick Telmer, director, bought 6,000 shares at $7.15 to hold 6,000.
* China Clipper Gold Mines (CXX-A) — Robin Dow, director, sold 400,000 shares privately at 27 cents and acquired 370,371 warrants from the company’s treasury in a private placement at 27 cents to hold 350,000 shares and 370,371 warrants.
* Crystallex International (KRY-T) — Robert Nihon, director, sold 50,000 warrants at $2.82 to hold none.
* High River Gold Mines (HRG-T) — Gordon Bogden, director, was granted 55,000 options at an unspecified price to hold 55,000; and Driffield Cameron, officer, was granted 85,000 options at $1.03 to hold 85,000.
* Inter-Rock Gold (IRO-T) — Peter Deeks, director, was granted 115,000 options at 30-35 cents, exercised 40,000 options at 30 cents to hold 89,400 shares directly, 42,333 shares through Parbirdie Holdings and 100,000 options; and Walter Steuerman, director, was granted 17,000 options at 30 cents and exercised those options at 30 cents to hold 97,000 shares and 100,000 options.
* Samax (SMX-T) — William Anderson, director, acquired 10,000 options at an unspecified price to hold 25,700; and Michael Martineau, director, acquired 120,000 options at $5.75 to hold 180,000 options; and Jeremy Pearce, director, was granted 19,000 options at $5.75 to hold 131,000 options.
